Restaurant/places to eat in Swastika Bungalows

This is the most welcoming friendly place you could ever stay at. I had last stayed with them 7 years ago & they remembered me. I had first stayed 36 years ago, & there are staff who date from that long ago, a sign of a good & happy place to work. It has become much larger than it originally was, but lost none of its charm. Beautiful gardens, 3 swimming pools, & updated rooms. My room, which I chose, had a private balcony & a beautiful view. The room itself was large & airy with a dressinroom & bathroom with bath & rain shower. The room which I had previously stayed in & loved, had been altered in order to give it a bigger bathroom. I was not as happy with it, so I was taken to look at other rooms, & moved with the greatest of ease. They put on a complimentary evening of food dance & music whilst I was staying, which was an added bonus. Swastika is a short walk to Sanur beach with plenty of beach front restaurants. They will provide transport to & from the airport for a small fee. I was travelling alone for the first time since my husband died, & it was the best place to start doing this. Due, I think, to their frienly attitude, they seem to attract equally friendly guests. I met some wonderful people whilst staying there.

Have to say everything exceeded our expectations...pools were lovely for over 50s...2 more pools one with bar and one lap pool..... breakfast was yummy..egg man to cook anything you desired... always left breakfast satisfied.... our room was clean comfortable and we were so comfortable we booked another week THE STAFF OUR AMAZING... they built a concrete step to make it easier for my husband to use the pool... he is a stroke victim and uses a wherlchair.... they put ramps outside the rooms.... they always helped my husband and even to the sumo resturant next door that gives discount to swastika patrons...arranged taxis... They made us feel very welcome and that a person with a disability could feel safe relaxed and happy..... they have lifts to breakfast...massage rooms etc... for the first 5 days we were so relaxed, we didnt venture out of the hotel 😁

Pool warm even at 5pm. Great amenities in my room, toiletries etc, and a decent table and chairs to sit with a laptop. Pool towel in room, hair dryer, good range of tv programmes and wifi worked just fine. Short walk to eateries. (Check out 'Cork' for meals and drinks- turn right after exiting hotel driveway and walk a bit). You will walk past Artedesana, big store with supermarket ground floor and amazing top floor with all the touristy items, suitcases, footwear, huge range of clothing. Worth checking out. Short walk down side street across road from hotel takes you to the beach.

The room was clean and well maintained and the variety of pool settings ensured that they were never overcrowded. The grounds were kept very clean. Breakfast was efficient and varied to suit everyone. Appreciated the complimentary tea and coffee and the ability to get food and drink anytime. The on site spa was lovely and the treatments very reasonably priced. Cleaning staff maintained our rooms very well.

Eggs or pancakes on demand available and the staff are always amenable to special requests.
